For a long time I struggled with posting a blog, since my experience has been that a search engine produces blogs in the bazillions, and sadly most of them should be best shared only with (very forgiving) family, close friends – or a priest – since many are dripping with wretched anger and hatred, showing borderline mental and emotional trauma, and (unfortunately) a good deal of them seem to be written from actual psychiatric hospitals. (And those are simply the ones about gardening, coin collecting and the study of Wumbo – 1st grade Spongebob).
[Insert mandatory new millennium smiling emoji here].
This blog is more about questions, then it really is about answers.
Personally, I’m amazed at how many people don’t ask questions. Questions like, “Why do people still call the cable TV opinion shows ‘news’?” Or, “Why do certain types of people buy red car.” And, “Why people often say, ‘there are no stupid questions’?” (When they treat your question as if you just disproved their nice little golden rule.)
I don’t expect everybody to like this blog. I once posted a statistic on a sports blog about the play of a Latin baseball player and was warned by the site administrator that I was dangerously sounding racist.
So if you’re a member of the social police, please move on. There’s really nothing you’re going to be able to control here.
But, if you’ve got a question, maybe you’ll find you’re not alone.
